Located in Henderson, Nevada, Lake Las Vegas is a 3,600 acre development with a 350 acre lake adjacent to the Lake Mead National Forest. Founded in 1990 as a resort community encompassing the lake and surrounded by Reflection Bay and South Shore Golf Club which are both Jack Nicklaus courses. The entire development is modeled after a small Italian town, complete with guardhouses and a clock tower. Most of the activities at Lake Las Vegas revolve around The Village, a town square with numerous dining, shopping, water sports, and entertainment options. On the North Shore there are five new home communities under construction with prices ranging from the mid $300,000s to over $1 Million.
Within the Village adjacent to the lake are the condo hotels of Luna and Viera which can be rented nightly or monthly. Some of the most luxurious homes in Southern Nevada are located across the lake on South Shore which is a private guard gated community. Depending on the specific community and type of residence (condo, townhome, or single family home) association fees range between $450 and $1,000 per month.
